1stserve Testimonials
What tennis players like you are saying about 1st ServeI have played in tennis leagues in Atlanta, GA, Columbus, OH, Pittsburgh, PA and Orlando, FL. This by far is the best one. The concept is easy to understand, the levels are evenly matched and it is inexpensive. I have been in Jacksonville, FL for nine months now and through 1st Serve I have over 20 people I can call up at any time for a very competitive match. If it were not for 1st Serve I would still be searching for games. I am a former Division 1 tennis player and I am happy to have 1st Serve around. I would encourage people at any level to get involved.>

The first serve concept works because people today are busier than ever. 1st serve allows you to play the game when and where it is convenient to you. The league rules are fair and there is good parity within each division. >

When I moved to Jacksonville in the Winter of 2000; I was very eager to find
an outlet for my love of tennis. I found everything I was looking for in short
order within the 1rstServe League format. I find the league to be extremely
well run and organized (especially with the introduction of the new website),
as well as a great way to meet friendly like minded individuals in a casual,
competative, yet friendly atmosphere. Tennis is such a great sport and
1rstServe is a very viable way to introduce it to the masses as well as bring
the joy of the sport to all who love to play the game, both young and old. It
has certainly helped my game as well as my spirits! Keep up the good work John
and Jackie and the rest of the 1rstServe staff. Kudos for a job well done and
best wishes for the continued "work in progress"!
Sincerely, Brad H. Mason

1stserve provides the opportunity to play individuals of your talent level
and age group that you would not ordinarily play in a friendly, but
competitive, nature.

Though I have been playing tennis for more than thirty years in various
venues around the country, until now I have not found an organization that
both allows me to find plenty of competitive matches AND to arrange them to
fit my own schedule. Of course there are compromises to be made with one's
opponent, but this never seems to be an insurmountable obstacle. And with
all of the various divisions, one can move up--or down--and thus encounter
new challenges so that it never gets boring. It's like a year-round
tournament, but there's no pressure to compete in every season if you care
to opt out.
I would love to compete with players in other cities in the U.S., and hope
that 1stServe (or whatever the new name may be) will continue to grow and
attract more and more tennis enthusiasts like myself.

1stserve has enabled me to meet players of the same
level quickly. Without its help I would still be looking
for players at my level.

I do not have a 9 to 5 job, so 1stserve has provided
me a way to play fun and competitive matches on my own
schedule, as well as giving me the opportunity to meet
more tennis players in my community.

I love 1st Serve! It is the best way to find other people of your
level around the city who are interested in playing singles. I have
met dozens of nice guys, and now play with several of them for
fun when not playing in the tournament matches. It is also a great
way to get to play at many of the different locations around the
city, places which you normally would not have access to. The system
used for scheduling matches is laid back, and you don't feel the
pressure of having no choice as to date or time like you do in the
city league or USTA.
Keep up the good work!

1stserve is great! As a new Jacksonvillian 1stserve
has helped me to learn my way around the city and meet
some very nice people. I really like the fact that
you can schedule matches at your own convenience. The
website is very cool --- being able to keep track of
matches and standings is awesome.
